I was supposed to start this yesterday. I woke up in the morning, opened up the fridge and saw some left over pizza, grabbed a slice without thinking and shoved it in my mouth. Halfway through the 3rd bite, it registered that I just totally screwed up! Ooops. “I guess I’m starting tomorrow”. Always tomorrow…. But tomorrow is here and I am starting.
As soon as I finished that slice of pizza I headed to the store and stocked up on my veggies and fruit and hummus so I didn’t make that same mistake.
I started this morning by hopping on the scale and weighed in at 198.8. Ugg I worked so hard to get under 200 and I’m so close to going over again. But I’m changing that right now! I took all my before measurements and pictures, I’m so ready to see the bloating go away!
The next 3 days are going to be pretty boring when it comes to food, you are going to see a lot of the same things. But I’m going post every thing that goes in my mouth every day for two reasons… so I can stay accountable and so you can get a good idea of what the 3 Day Refresh is like.
My breakfast was yummy. I made a Vegan Tropical Strawberry shakeology mixed in water and 1/2 of a grapefruit. I love grapefruit and there are so many great benefits from eating grapefruit. It helps with weight loss, it helps digestion, and it’s high in fiber. There are so many other benefits, but that’s all I’m going to talk about right now.
I’m working on drinking at least a gallon of water so I can really flush out all my toxins, keep hydrated and help my detox.
Mid-morning I drank the Fiber Sweep drink. I think you either love this drink or you hate it! I’ve heard other that don’t like it and I think it might be a texture thing. I personally love it. It’s got a lemony taste. I mix it with cold water, shake it, and chug it down. I know that if you sip it and take your time drinking it, the drink will start to thicken up, so it’s better to drink it fast.
My kiddo had his last soccer game today and it was at noon followed by a pizza party. Mmmm pizza… mmmm free pizza. Haha. I prepared myself for it though. I made my vanilla fresh shake with water and some ice, I cut up half a honey crisp apple, put some almond butter in a container, and got a little baggie of carrots. I munched on that while I watched the kiddo defend the goal.
The last few days I’ve been feeling like I’m fighting something off. My kiddo had strep throat at the beginning of the week, so I’m really hoping that I’m not getting that. Today I’m not feeling that great. Feeling a little run down, a bit of a headache and my throat is a little scratchy. I’m really hoping I’m not getting what he had. When we got home from soccer, I cut up some cucumber and threw together the cucumber salad for dinner so it could marinate and then I relaxed with a cup of tea. Maybe if I load myself up with tea, it will start making me feel better.
I was happy to see that I can have a whole bell pepper with some hummus for a snack. That totally hit the spot.
I finished off my eating for the day with a yummy cucumber salad. The recipe is included in the 3 Day Refresh instruction book and it is so yummy. I love cucumber because it’s another food that helps flush out your body. It’s also a low gas veggie, which is good with all the fiber I’m eating.
