Wow! Already day 18!!! Only a few more days to go. I will say the scale is being nice to me right now. I can’t wait to post my before and after results. I’m a little bummed that this week I haven’t been on point with my 21 Day Fix workouts, but I have been getting my activity in, so this will just so you how well you can do when you follow the nutrition plan and get some activity in. I plan on doing another round where I follow the nutrition and fitness plan exactly as it is written, and I will post about that too. That will give you a good comparison of the results you can get. I really do love this program, it’s one of my favorites. That being said, I’m probably going to be doing a round of Country Heat once I finish this just because the work outs are going to be easier for me to stick to while I’m traveling in 2 weeks. There is no equipment needed, all I need is my Beachbody On Demand and I’m good to go.
This headache is still hanging on. I tried something different today and it seems to be helping. I took a Mucinex DM and my headache isn’t quite as intense. Maybe it’s all sinus related.
I started today with a coffee (1/2 yellow & 1/2 red) because I had a couple hours of work to do before I could head out for my run this morning. Once my work and meetings were done, I laced up my shoes and went out for a run. I walked/ran the first half of my 3 miles because…. hills. You know how much I love them. But the last half I was able to run the whole thing and I’m excited to say that I got a personal record again. I ran the last mile at 10:38 min!!!!! I remember this time last year I was excited to be under a 13 min mile.
Once I got home, I made my breakfast, steel cut oats with 1/2 purple of fruit and 2 hard boiled eggs. (1 yellow, 1/2 purple, 1 red)
Now I’m getting back to work and drinking my water and hoping this headache stays mild like it is right now.
So my breakfast was kind of late, it was closer to lunch time, I haven’t been super hungry the last couple days, I think because of my headache, so I didn’t eat lunch or even my afternoon snack.
My kids wanted Wendy’s, one of my son’s even offered to pay. So I stopped and let them get something, but I skipped it and came home and ate one of my prepped chicken fajita meals. I made two fajitas and couldn’t even eat them both. I ate about 1 and a half and I was done.
Before bed, I was a little hungry and realized I didn’t drink my Shakeology yet, so I made a Tropical Strawberry with some emergen-c added to it. I love that combo. Now it’s time to hit the hay and do it all over again tomorrow.
